Directives regarding COVID-19

The Courts of the Northwest Territories and Court Services are issuing Directives to address the best response during the COVID-19 health emergency. Directives will evolve to meet these needs as required. Please review these regularly as the most current information will always be posted at this link.

Supreme Court scheduling notice

Supreme court criminal list scheduling will be held on the following dates.

  • September 17, 2021 - Courtroom 201 (2nd floor)
    • Video appearances in the morning
    • Telephone appearances at 2:00 PM

The following chambers dates are cancelled:

  • August 2, 2021 - Regular Criminal Chambers
  • August 12, 2021 - Regular Family Chambers
  • August 13, 2021 - Regular Civil Chambers
  • September 6, 2021 - Regular Criminal Chambers
  • September 30, 2021 - Regular Family Chambers
  • October 11, 2021 - Regular Criminal Chambers
  • November 11, 2021 - Regular Family Chambers
  • December 23, 2021 - Regular Family Chambers
  • December 24, 2021 - Regular Civil Chambers
  • December 27, 2021 - Regular Criminal Chambers
  • December 30, 2021 - Regular Family Chambers
  • December 31, 2021 - Regular Civil Chambers
  • January 3, 2022 - Regular Criminal Chambers
