Directives regarding COVID-19

The Courts of the Northwest Territories and Court Services are issuing Directives to address the best response during the COVID-19 health emergency. Directives will evolve to meet these needs as required. Please review these regularly as the most current information will always be posted at this link.

Supreme Court scheduling notice

Supreme court criminal list scheduling will be held on the following dates.

  • July 3, 2020 - Courtroom 201 (2nd floor)
    • Telephone appearances at 1:30 PM
  • September 11, 2020 - Courtroom 201 (2nd floor)
    • Video/telephone appearances in the morning
    • Courtroom appearances at 2:00 PM
  • November 20, 2020 - Courtroom 201 (2nd floor)
    • Video/telephone appearances in the morning
    • Courtroom appearances at 2:00 PM

The following chambers dates are cancelled:

  • May 18, 2020 - Regular Criminal Chambers
  • May 22, 2020 - Regular Civil Chambers
  • May 29, 2020 - Regular Civil Chambers
  • June 22, 2020 - Regular Criminal Chambers
  • August 3, 2020 - Regular Criminal Chambers
